From 9 to 11 December 2020 the Independent agency for quality assurance in education (IQAA) conducted an external review within the framework of the institutional accreditation of the RSE at the "Kindergarten "Karlygash" of the Medical Center of the Administration of the President’s Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This is the first accreditation of a preschool organization in Kazakhstan by the Agency. This is a big step for Kazakhstan's preschool education and upbringing system on the way to improving the quality of its services.
External review was carried out for compliance with specially developed IQAA standards for preschool organizations. Agency used the regulatory-legal acts of MES RK in the area of preschool education and the leading European and American standards for the evaluation of preschool education.
It is important to emphasize the highly qualified composition of the external review panel, consisting of leading experts in the field of preschool education and upbringing in the Republic of Kazakhstan, international experts, a representative of the field of medicine and a representative of parents. Early Years School Principal of the Kazakhstan International School (KIS) Kirsi Tarkka (Finland) and professor of the university of Tampere Eeva Hujala (Finland) were invited as international experts.
IQAA continues to expand the scope of its activities and seeks to support educational organizations in improving the quality of their activities, as well as to increase their competitiveness at the national and international levels.
