The meeting started with a tour of the agency. During the tour ENQA management met IQAA staff and got acquainted with the activity of each department.
During the official part of the meeting, ENQA President Christoph Grolimund, Vice-President Katy Duykaerts and IQAA team discussed current and prospective directions. IQAA was represented by Chairman of the IQAA Supervisory Board Zh. Kulekeev, Chairman of the Accreditation Board S. Udartsev., IQAA President Sh. Kalanova, Head of Department of Auditing universities and research centers, Zh. Ahmadieva, Manager of Project for HEI and college expertise K. Jigitcheyeva, Chief coordinator of the Department Auditing universities and research centers B.Imasheva.
During the discussion the key strategic directions were identified: further cooperation with the management and members of the European Association, opportunities for expanding cooperation with neighboring countries in Central Asia, strengthening information support for IQAA activities, methodological support of IQAA accreditation activities.
