The President of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), Professor Sh. Kalanova and the staff of the Agency participated in the VII Eurasian Higher Education Leaders’ Forum 2018 (hereinafter EHELF Forum) "Innovating Higher Education in the Age of Disruption", which was held on 7-8 of June, 2018 at Nazarbayev University in Astana.
The main speakers of the EHELF Forum were leading international experts in the field of education, representatives of well-known foreign and Kazakhstani universities, as well as students of the Nazarbayev University. Within the framework of the forum, several plenary sessions were held. The issues on the disruption technologies impact on higher education, the role of higher education institutions in developing skills and achieving long-term goals, upgrading higher education against disruptive technologies were discussed.
In addition, an exhibition of projects of Nazarbayev University Innovation Cluster Astana Business Campus "Create. Innovate. Disrupt." was organized. The experience of Nazarbayev University Technopark in the development of innovative eco-system was demonstrated.
