This event took part on 28-29 April 2017 in Zagreb (Croatia) and was hosted by the Croatian Quality Assurance Agency ASHE.
During the first day of the event, a seminar on the topic "Ways forward to make external quality assurance a more efficient process" was conducted. In the beginning of the seminar, the welcoming speech was delivered by the CEENQA President, Dr. Iring Wasser. In the framework of the seminar the following topics were discussed:
- External quality assurance as a more efficient process (Nora Skaburskiene, SKVC, Lithuania; Maria Weber, AQ, Austria);
- Planned Europe-wide database of external quality assurance results (Melinda Szabo, EQAR);
- Suitable IT systems for administering external quality assurance (Daniel Wörhoff, ASIIN, Germany).
In the framework of the General Assembly, the election of the new CEENQA President took place. The former President Iring Wasser was replaced by Nora Skaburskiené – Director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC, Lithuania) and a Board member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
In addition, CEENQA accepted a new member – National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation, ANQA, Armenia.
