From May 9-10 in Vienna, Austria, there was a holding of the EQUIP workshop. This event was organized in cooperation with the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria. The aim of this seminar – to receive full information about Standards and Guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) by stakeholders and quality assurance agencies, and to share experiences and the best practices on the use of new standards directly from their authors.
In the beginning of the seminar, the welsoming speech was delivered by the Director of ENQA, Maria Kelo, and Director of AQ Austria, Achim Hopbach,
In the course of the seminar, participants considered the following issues:
1) ESG 2015: what has changed and what does it mean?
2) The view of the stakeholders on the main challenges with the ESG 2015.
3) How to use the ESG 2015 in your context?
The second day of the seminar included the breakout session on the topic: "ESG 2015 as a tool for change", where participants had the opportunity to discuss particular examples of the use of ESG 2015, to share their experiences, and also present their views and suggestions.
