The 4th ENQA General Assembly was held on October 29-30, 2013 in Vilnius, Lithuania, organized in cooperation with the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).
The Assembly was attended by 98 delegates from all European accreditation agencies. The Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) was presented by the President, Professor Kalanova Sh.M.
The General Assembly was opened by the President of the ENQA, Achim Hopbach and Minister of education and science of Lithuania, Dainius Pavalkis.
In framework of the Assembly, there was a holding of the Plenary Meeting dedicated to the revision of ESG. All participants had the opportunity to express their opinions in regards to the revised version of standards before consideration of this version by the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG). Revised standards were presented for discussion in four groups.
Also, there was a discussion of the following issues: annual report of activities, planning of activities for a next year, selection of new members for the guiding Committee and approval of the membership at ENQA, discussion of perspectives on development of the organization, holding of the Forum and the ENQA General Assembly in 2014 and other organizational issues of the network.
