Representatives of the IQAA took part in the Republic seminar "National qualification frameworks: from the architecture of methodology to practice of application", which was organized on June 8-9, in Astana on the basis of L.N.Gumilev Eurasian National University by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the National Office of the programme Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan. In the course of the seminar, participants discussed the issues concerning the compliance of the National Qualification Framework of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the Comprehensive European Framework, peculiarities in the development and introduction of national qualification frameworks, good practice of the foreign experience. During the plenary meeting, there was a presentation of the European expert, Brian Maguire, a recognized international authority in the field of development of qualification frameworks.
In framework of the seminar, there was a holding of master-classes by the members of the National Team of experts on the reformation of higher education sector in Kazakhstan, as well as the exhibition of results for Tempus projects realized in Kazakhstani universities.
