Eurasian Higher Education Leaders Forum - 2015

On June 11-12, 2015, the IV Eurasian Higher Education Leaders Forum took place in Astana on the basis of Nazarbayev University. This year, the forum was dedicated to the topic "Graduate of the XXI century: key competencies and modern labor market". The introductory speech was delivered by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aslan Sarinzhipov.

Speakers of the Forum were experts from the Great Britain, the USA, Morocco, Qatar, Singapore, Kazakhstan and Russia. During the presentation, participants considered the issues concerning employability of students in condition of the diversification of the national and global economy, demands for technical skills, successful partnership of the university with employers and society, as well as stages of adaptation (school, university, work). Participants of the forum were the representatives from the sphere of education, state organizations and business society – had the opportunity to exchange opinions, practical experience, to take part in lively discussions, and to expand their business relations.
