On June 24, 2015 the IQAA hosted a seminar on the topic: "European standards and recommendations for quality assurance of higher education in the new edition", which was conducted by the President of the IQAA, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sholpan Kalanova, and Deputy Director of the Center for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC, Lithuania), Aurelija Valeikienė.
The seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Accreditation Council, members of Accreditation Committees, experts and staff of the Agency. At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded with certificates. Participants of the seminar had an opportunity to get acquainted with the main changes in the new edition of standards and to discuss their effective use in the procedures of quality assurance in educational organizations of Kazakhstan.
