The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the fourth meeting of the Republican Council of Rectors of Kazakhstani universities dedicated to the issues concerning new conditions of accreditation.
The most discussed issue among rectors was concerning the changes in the conditions of accreditation of Kazakhstani higher education institutions, which are planned to be enforced on January 1, 2017.
A presentation was made by the Chairman of the Committee for Control in the field of Education and Science from the MES RK, Sayat Nyusupov. This meeting was attended by the IQAA President, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences - Professor Sh. Kalanova, Scientific Consultant of the IAAR, PhD - Seydahmetova R.G., and rectors of Kazakhstani universities.
The director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education and International Cooperation of the MES RK, Serik Omirbaev, discussed the technology of conducting special examinations for pedagogical specialties.
As it is known, in 2016 the admission to pedagogical specialties and specialties, which require special or creative preparation will be carried out with the account of special or creative examinations.
This creative examination is supposed to be an effective tool for determining the applicant's aptitudes for pedagogy by the means of psychological testing and tasks on pedagogical situations. The task for pedagogical situation will require a prospecting entrant to use a pedagogical approach in order to analyze the fact or a usual situation.
At the end of the meeting, the rectors of higher education institutions started a lively discussion of presented information and agreed to conclude with final suggestions for the next meeting of the Council.
