On October 30th, 2015 the President of the Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sh. Kalanova conducted a lecture at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education on the topic: "Accreditation: excursion into the history and international experience. Current state of the quality assurance of education in Kazakhstan".
The main purpose of the lecture was to discuss the issues of quality assurance in higher education as well as the role of accreditation in the system of quality assurance in the sphere of education. Master students from the Graduate School of Education showed a great interest in the issues of quality assurance in higher education, and the role of accreditation in this process.
At the end of the lecture, the representatives of Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education were able to ask President of IQAA different questions pertaining to the field of quality assurance and Professor Sh.Kalanova gave exhaustive answers to all those questions.
Summing up the results of the lecture, professor Sh.Kalanova, President of IQAA, thanked Master students from Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education for their interest in the topic of quality assurance in education.
