On 13 December, on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the New Year holidays, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) held its traditional annual charitable campaign for the tenth time, aimed at supporting lonely pensioners and persons with disabilities.
The campaign has become an integral part of IQAA’s corporate culture, reflecting the Agency’s commitment to contributing to social well-being and supporting those who are most in need of care and attention. This year, assistance was provided to more than 100 beneficiaries living in various districts of the city of Astana.
As in previous years, food products were purchased in advance by the Agency’s management, delivered to the office, and carefully packed by staff into gift packages containing essential food items and festive treats. Each package included 18 different items, such as tea, butter, sunflower oil, canned stewed meat, cheese, chocolate, cereals, pasta, dairy products, fruits, a New Year gift, and other food products. The following day, the delivery of the packages to pensioners was carried out with the assistance of ordered taxi services and volunteers.
IQAA expressed special gratitude to the student volunteers of the A.K. Kusainov Eurasian Humanities Institute, who actively participated in the preparation and distribution of the gifts, as well as to the university management for supporting the initiative.
The recipients warmly welcomed the Agency’s representatives, expressing their gratitude, sharing their personal stories, and offering kind wishes. These sincere interactions once again highlighted the importance of charitable initiatives and the need to continue this good tradition.
