The Assembly included:

  • Sessions dedicated to stakeholder involvement in external quality evaluation processes;
  • Discussions on the role of artificial intelligence and technological innovation in the work of quality assurance agencies;
  • Expansion of international cooperation, where participants from both European and non-European countries exchanged experiences, including on the transition to hybrid and digital evaluation formats.

In addition, ENQA leadership changes were announced: ENQA President Douglas Blackstock completed his term and received strong appreciation from the ENQA community. Kristina Gituliță (Director of ARACIS, Romania), previously ENQA Vice-President, was unanimously elected as the new President. Christine Vigne (NOKUT, Norway) and Patrick Van den Bosch (VLUHR QA, Belgium) were elected as Vice-Presidents of the association.

The IQAA leadership attended the event, actively participating in discussions, sharing experiences, and strengthening connections with colleagues from the sector. High-level participation:

  • Confirms our commitment to international standards of educational quality;
  • Enables the adoption and integration of best practices into our methodologies and processes;
  • Expands opportunities for further cooperation with leading agencies in Europe and beyond;
  • Strengthens the international activities of our Agency and opens new areas of work (such as digital skills, data analytics, and ESG revision).

We express our gratitude to the ENQA team and our partner colleagues for the excellent organization and productive work, and we look forward to implementing the new ideas and initiatives shared at the Assembly.
