On September 25, 2025, a meeting of the Supervisory Board was held under the chairmanship of Professor Zh.A. Kulekeev. The event was attended by the members of the IQAA Supervisory Board:
- Zhaksybek A. Kulekeyev – Chairman of the IQAA Supervisory Board, Professor, Member of the Supreme Council for Reforms under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Social and Economic Reforms of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Supreme Scientific and Technical Commission under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of NC JSC "KazMunayGas".
- Franci Demšar – Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Slovenian physicist and politician, Director of the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (NAKVIS).
- Sholpan M. Kalanova – Professor, President of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).
- Gani M. Tasmaganbetov – Director of LLP "EL DEVELOPMENT" in Astana, Employer Representative.
According to the agenda, the following items were reviewed and approved:
- The results of the Agency’s activities for the first half of 2025;
- The composition of the IQAA Accreditation Council.
The President of the Agency, Professor Sh. M. Kalanova, presented a report on the challenges and achievements of IQAA during the first half of 2025, as well as on the plans for the second half of the current year.
The report was noted for the informative content regarding the work carried out and the key conclusions on the Agency’s strategic priorities, as well as the high competence of the members of the Accreditation Council.
