IQAA holds a seminar for school principals on June 17, 2025

In accordance with the Concept of development of pre-school, secondary, technical and vocational education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029 (Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 28, 2023, No. 249), accreditation of educational organizations to improve the quality of schools is becoming an important component of the National Model of Education Quality Assurance. Accreditation allows improving the level of educational services and confirming the compliance of the educational institution's activities with high requirements of international standards in the field of education quality, raises the prestige and status of the educational organization.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the Concept of Education Development plans to accredit the best schools of the country. The list of accreditation agencies is presented on the Ministry's website, which includes "Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA)". Our agency holds a seminar for school principals: "Quality Assurance in Secondary Education Organizations" on June 17, 2025, which will be held by IQAA.

IQAA - the first Kazakhstani agency for quality assurance in education was established in 2008. From the very beginning of its activity it is a leader in the field of quality assessment of educational activities and is included by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Education in the Register of recognized accreditation bodies in the field of secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary education.

IQAA is a member of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) since 2008, the European Quality Assurance Register in Higher Education (EQAR), which includes representatives of ministries responsible for higher education in 47 European countries, including Kazakhstan, and the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) since 2017, the International Quality Group (CHEA - IQG) (USA) since 2014.

The Agency is an associate member of the international organization ICAISA, based in Boston (USA), which unites accreditation agencies all over the world.

The seminar for school directors will be held on the basis of the first British university in Astana - Coventry University Kazakhstan. Opened in September 2024, the University offers world-class facilities, including interactive learning spaces, a social zone, and a well-stocked library.
