On June 18, 2024, IQAA underwent post-accreditation monitoring by representatives of ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education), the procedure of which was attended by Member of the Board of ENQA, Head of the Flemish Council for Higher Education for Quality Assurance (VLUHR QA, Brussels, Belgium) - Patrick Van den Bosch, and an expert from the Catalan Accreditation Agency (AQU Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain) - Núria Comet Señal.
As part of the monitoring, meetings were held with the President of IQAA, Prof., Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Ph.D. Kalanova Sh.M. and Agency employees. In the afternoon, ENQA representatives met with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Prof., Ph.D., public figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kulekeev Zh.A., as well as with members of the Accreditation Council Chairman, Prof., Doctor of Economics. Gamarnik G.N., Deputy Chairman, Prof., Doctor of Economics Doskenov T.K. and member - student representative N.E. Aimenov. Member of the Supervisory Board, Head of Higher Education of the Council for Education and Youth Affairs (Estonia) Dr. Maiki Udam, member of the Accreditation Council, head of the department for legal and general issues of the Center for Quality Assessment of Higher Education (SKVC, Lithuania) Ieva Vaiciukeviciene and member of the Accreditation Council, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of West Kazakhstan Agricultural-Technical University named after Zhangir Khan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Gubashev N.M.
At all meetings with various focus groups, a lively dialogue took place about modern trends in ensuring the quality of higher education and the strategic priorities of the Agency’s development.
ENQA experts highly appreciated the activities of IQAA, noting the positive dynamics of development in all areas of the Agency’s activities.
