Conference of Rectors of Universities of Central Asia, October 31, 2023

On October 31, 2023, Astana hosted a Conference of rectors of universities of Central Asia on the topic "Development of quality assurance systems for higher education in the conditions of Central Asian Educational Institutions" in an online format. The conference was attended by rectors of universities and representatives of Ministries of Education of Central Asian countries, representatives of accreditation agencies. The moderator of the conference was Amantay Nurmagambetov, Advisor of the Director of the Higher Education Development National Center.
IQAA President Sholpan Kalanova presented a presentation on the topic "Towards quality assurance in education", where she spoke in detail about the history of the formation of independent accreditation in Kazakhstan, about the role and activities of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).
