On November 8, 2023, a MICE Ambassador meeting was held in Astana, organized by NC Kazakh Tourism JSC, where IQAA agency, which is the ambassador of MICE international tourism, is represented.
MICE is an area of the business tourism industry related to the organization and holding of various corporate events. The concept of MICE is formed by four basic directions: meetings — corporate meetings, presentations, negotiations, etc., incentives — incentive or motivational tours and programs, team building, staff training, corporate events, conferences — conferences, congresses, forums, seminars, etc., exhibitions — exhibitions, image events (festivals, charity concerts, etc.), PR events and press tours.
The welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the MICE Ambassador Meeting was delivered by Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakh Tourism - Kairat Sadvakasov. The MICE Ambassador Meeting consisted of two Panel sessions - the MICE Tourism in Kazakhstan Panel Session and the International Events Panel Session. Also there were presented presentations of the programs of the MICE tourism ambassadors and was held the ceremony of appointment of the MICE Tourism Ambassadors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the Panel session "International Events", IQAA President Sholpan Kalanova presented a report on the INQAAHE 2023 conference held by the Agency. At the end of her speech, Sholpan Kalanova expressed gratitude and presented INQAAHE trophies to the organizations – NC Kazakh Tourism JSC and SPK Astana Development LLP, who contributed to the high-level organization of conference. She also noted that the foreign participants of the conference highly appreciated and thanked the organizers of the conference.
