On May 27, 2019, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) held an International Conference of Experts on Quality Assessment in Education at the Kazakh National University of Arts.

Over 110 people took part in the work of the international conference: heads of universities and colleges, heads of administration and departments for accreditation and quality assurance, deans, heads of departments, teachers, students and foreign experts.
The first part of the conference was devoted to the preparation of reports on external audit, the accreditation procedure through the eyes of an expert and a university, the final results of the Erasmus + "C3QA" project were reported.
International experts of IQAA - Professor of the South Ural State Agrarian University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Sheryazov Saken Koyshybaevich (Russian Federation) and Professor of Riga Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Mareks Mezitis (Latvia) spoke about their participation in expert groups in IQAA.

Focus group 3. "Conducting an external audit: organizing the work of the expert group and conducting interviews" (moderator: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Raimbekova Zhanat Akhatovna - Head of the Department for the Accreditation of TVET Organizations, IQAA)
Focus group 4. "Communication skills and ethical aspects in the work of an expert during an external audit" (moderators: Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Molotov-Luchansky Vilen Borisovich - Advisor to the Rector of the Medical University of Karaganda; Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Imasheva Bagdat Sakenovna - Chief Coordinator, Project Manager for Medical Organizations, IQAA)
After the official part of the conference, a solemn ceremony for awarding certificates of the National Rating of the Best Universities of Kazakhstan 2019 was organized. At the end of the ceremony, a concert of students and teachers of the Kazakh National University of Arts took place.
