Dr. Mark Ardis
Mark Ardis received his BA in Mathematics from Cornell University and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. He has taught software engineering courses at the University of Illinois, Wang Institute, Carnegie-Mellon University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Mark worked as a software developer for 5 years in the Washington, DC area, and spent 9 years with the Software Production Research department of Bell Laboratories. His research interests include formal methods of software development, quality assurance, and the professionalization of software engineering.
