We know that Quality Assurance Professionals are insightful individuals with many questions. Below is a list of frequently asked questions to help answer questions you may have regarding the IQAA Inc.

What is the membership cost for a QA Professional to join the association?

You are in luck! At this time there is no charge to become a member of the association. Just go to the Membership page and fill out the information and submit, it is that easy!

Does the IQAA have Corporate Sponsorships?

Yes! The IQAA does solicit corporations to sponsor the association. This allows us to provide benefits to our members without charging dues. The payback to the Corporate Sponsors is a professional organization in which their employees can participate and allows them to grow their profession. Corporations can sponsor the IQAA monetarily or by providing a meeting facility. There are various levels of sponsorship, please see the Corporate Sponsorship page for additional information.

What is a Program Meeting, how often do they meet and where?

The Monthly Program Meetings are 2 hours sessions that meet 8 times per year at different locations around the Indianapolis area. The meetings will consist of speakers, roundtable and panel discussions focusing on a discipline within the Quality Assurance Profession. The sessions are interactive and allows for information sharing amongst those that attend.

Can I make a donation?

The IQAA Inc. is a 501-C-6 Non-Profit Corporation that does accept donations from individuals and corporations. Donations and Corporate Sponsorships is a major component of our funding. All monies need to be presented to Derek Rogers, Treasurer, who will provide you a receipt reflecting the donation to the IQAA Inc.

Will the IQAA host Conferences in Indianapolis?

Finally.....Indianapolis will have an annual Quality Assurance Conference! More details can be found on the Seminars page. We hope that you will join us for this annual event that will provide attendees with cutting edge technology information sessions, vendor showcases and networking opportunities. IQAA Members can attend these events at a discounted price.

Will the IQAA host Training Seminars in Indianapolis?

Yes! Training Seminars will be slated throughout the year for Quality Assurance Professionals and will be hosted locally in Indianapolis. Visit the Seminars page for more information on upcoming events. IQAA Members can attend these events at a discounted price.

Who is IQAA affiliated with for providing QA Professionals with Certifications?

At this time, the IQAA is affiliated with the Quality Assurance Institute to provide certification testing locally. In the future, we will be expanding our alliances with other affiliated certification companies as well.

Are there Special Interest Groups associated with the IQAA?

Special Interest Groups are formed from our membership base for those individuals that have specific interest in QA disciplines such as IEEE, CMM and Six Sigma. If you are interested in joining or forming a SIG contact the Director of Communications.

I want to take a Certification Exam but how do I study?

Study groups are formed to study with other professionals before taking an exam. Generally, these study groups will meet 5 months in advance of the certification exam on a weekly basis at a pre-determined study location. More information can be found on the Certification Self Study page. If you have any questions regarding study groups contact the Director of Certifications.

How can I participate in the growing success of the IQAA?

You can participate in the growing success of the IQAA by becoming a member and enjoying all of the benefits! Also, there are always opportunities to join a committee to assist in the event planning. If you are interested in participating on a committee contact the Director of Communications.
