Michael is a Team Leader in the Global Computer Systems area at Eli Lilly.  He has over 15 years of quality experience supporting all aspects of the software development life-cycle.  Michael is widely recognized for his Computer System Validation (CSV) knowledge and the processes put in place for inspection readiness as it relates to computer systems.  He is relied upon heavily as a Computer Systems Quality resource to assist business, IT and quality management in assessing CSV status and providing computer system validation expertise.  Additionally, he is widely recognized for his risk-based knowledge for validating computer systems.  He has been instrumental in putting in place the structure and processes for providing overall Computer Systems Quality support to global computer systems within the pharmaceutical industry.  Michael also serves as vice-president for the Indianapolis Quality Assurance Institute.  He can be contacted at michael.osburn@iqaa.org.
